Proof of Concept Studies
In cases when the program for development of a new drug requires, the additional set of supplementary research that goes beyond the study of a given molecule is to be provided, which helps to substantiate a hypothesis why this new drug needs to be created and why it will work.
Usually, this is purely scientific research, which nevertheless serves the purpose of creating a new drug. Sometimes they provide an answer to pressing medical questions that are not directly related to the development of a new drug, but are still important from a scientific or medical point of view. Our task is to ensure a high methodological level of the organization of such a study and to obtain reliable results.
CLS has a decent experience in designing and conducting the Proof of Concept Studies and Investigator-Initiated Studies. Among our most prominent projects are assessment of pain during manipulation of the cervix, evaluation of implantation rate in different protocols of ovarian stimulations, evaluation of the role of lactic acid in the correction of vaginal pH in patients with bacterial vaginosis.
