Our cluster of East-European countries is very attractive for clinical trials for a number of reasons:
- More than 100 million population
- Supportive regulatory environment
- Post-Soviet healthcare system in different countries is undergoing different stages of transformation and has mutual favorable features for clinical trials:
- focused on quick escalation of medical issues, ready to manage complex patients flows
- still bulky, very centralized and underfunded but already fully able to provide diagnostic and medical techniques in accordance with international standards
- underpaid medical personnel is easily motivated by involvement in clinical trials
- Investigators:
- relatively easy to motivate
- rather experienced in clinical trial
- flexible and manageable
- Patients:

Finding appropriate sites is the challenge in the beginning and we simplify this task by exploring our network. Sometimes, the clinical site can be very successful in one indication but weaker in another.
